Puppy Pic & A 5 Day Real Food Reset Perfect for Fall Inside!
It was a banner week. A new puppy and new biz all in the same week!
My husband Kyle Flaherty AKA the White Lion started a food & wine pairing business called White Lion Wine Experience this week. The soft opening with friends and family was a smashing success and his first class to the public is almost sold out.
While we are not yet doing online classes, if you’re in the DFW area, check it out. He’s doing both pop-up classes at a local place and in home concierge-style classes that are curated with the host to make it a fantastic, intimate experience.
Then of course the really big news. We got a sweet pup that’s 6 months old and named Bentley by his previous owner, but his nickname is “Little Lion” which is the meaning of Shih Tzu. The newfound knowledge of his breed’s meaning was serendipitous as we had already decided we were going to adopt him, but he’s now the mascot of Kyle’s business. Bentley must know that because he will not leave Kyle’s side.
Whew!!
Needless to say, I’ve been a little under it but I’ve committed to writing a BRAND NEW meal plan every Thursday with new recipes + getting you something fun to read on Mondays

Fall…The Perfect Time for a Reset
In case you didn’t know, Fall and Spring equinoxes are the best time to do a reset. You’re aligning your body with what’s happening in the earth. I won’t go into the science of it all, but this is such a gentle reset with real food that you don’t need to know the science. Just know for 5 days you’re going to feed yourself really well and reset from the summer popsicles, ice cream and margaritas.
